Med S15 presenterer FiiO en lydstreamer av svært høy kvalitet. Den konkurrerer faktisk med mange high-end streamere til en pris som utfordrer det meste av konkurransen. S15 er svært komplett og tilbyr et bredt spekter av strømmetjenester takket være operativsystemet Android 12, samtidig som den benytter en kombinasjon av DAC-brikkene AK4191EQ og AK4499EX for lydytelse på toppnivå.

Den støtter samplingsfrekvenser opptil PCM 32-bit/768 kHz og DSD512. Enheten kan også fungere som forforsterker via sine RCA- og XLR-linjeutganger. FiiO S15: A streamer with a high-performance chipset

AK4191EQ + AK4499EX

This DAC chip combo separates analog and digital signal processing for the most accurate sound reproduction. An XMOS V16AOP controller and timers ensure smooth operation.

XMOS XU-316

This high-performance, low-latency chip offers a high level of compatibility and supports high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz.

Qualcomm QCC5125

This Bluetooth chip enables the S15 to process high-definition codecs such as aptX and LDAC. Moreover, the bi-directional function lets you send a stream to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 660

A master chip, it enables the S15 to integrate the Android 12 operating system and ensure fluid navigation on its screen.

FiiO S15: A linear power supply

The FiiO S15 streamer features an ultra-low-noise 35W linear power supply to power all its audiophile components. This power supply is furthermore coupled with four Elna 4700µF capacitors to ensure high current capacity. It's also worth noting that each stage of the network player is isolated for protection against interference and improved dynamics for clear, pure sound reproduction.

FiiO S15: Fully balanced analog architecture

The analog circuitry of the FiiO S15 benefits from a fully balanced architecture from the DAC to the preamplifier stage. This considerably reduces noise and delivers a pure signal to the streamer's outputs. The outputs also feature both fixed and variable levels, allowing the S15 to be used as a preamplifier. In fact, the analog output stage is based on OPA1612, ensuring high voltage levels and good dynamics.

The FiiO S15 features a large color touchscreen on its front panel. The Android 12 interface can be accessed via this for easy access to the various services. In addition, numerous interfaces are available, such as a vumeter, and the home screen is customizable.
